Dunlop Cry Baby Wah

The Dunlop Cry Baby is the standard guitar wah, the pedal most players picture when they think of a wah, and owners place it between the cleaner, quieter Morley and the more vocal Vox for feel. It is a whole line rather than one pedal: the basic GCB95, a compact Mini, the 535Q with a switchable range, and a long list of signature models tuned for players from Hendrix to Slash and Zakk Wylde, several of which owners rate highly for specific voices like shred. It is also the most modded wah out there, with owners adding external controls for sweep, Q and voicing or swapping inductors to chase a particular era. Which wah is best comes down to the sound you are after, but the Cry Baby is the default most people start and stay with.
