Bass players are enthusiastic about the Blumes: several put it straight on the board, one replacing a TS9B and another calling it the piece that completed his rig, and one who compared it to the guitar Plumes said it blows it out of the water. It has plenty of low end and gain on tap, more than owners usually push, so many run it conservatively and blend in a clean signal for body. It is not the only option in that space: one bassist found another pedal covered what he liked about the Blumes and did it better.
