TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Reverb

About the TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Reverb

The TC Electronic Hall of Fame is a versatile, affordable digital reverb covering spring, plate, hall, room, church, shimmer and more. Its signature feature is TonePrint: you connect it to a phone or computer to load or design custom reverbs. The Hall of Fame 2 stores three of them and adds a pressure-sensitive MASH footswitch (for shimmer and other on-the-fly effects), and it comes in a Mini version too.

The Hall of Fame is a longtime favourite for a simple reason: owners keep calling it the best reverb for the money, and a great first reverb. It covers a lot of ground, sounds high-quality, and for many is an always-on 'must have.' The clever part is that it works two ways. You can plug it in, set the knobs and leave it, treating it as a straightforward always-on verb, or you can deep-dive the TonePrint editor to build custom reverbs and save three of them, with the MASH switch adding shimmer when you lean on it. In the crowded budget-reverb debate it does have real rivals: a vocal group prefer the EHX Oceans 11 for sound and value, and the Boss RV-6 comes up again and again as a never-fails alternative. But for flexibility per pound, the HoF stays the benchmark for a lot of players.
