The Fulltone OCD is one of the most popular overdrives around, an amp-in-a-box style drive with more gain and grit than a tube screamer that owners rank in the top handful of all-time OD pedals. It sits in the blues-breaker family of circuits but clips harder, closer to a light distortion, and carries a high-peak and low-peak voicing toggle. Owners love it stacked in front of another drive or a clean amp, and a common tip is to run it at 18 volts for more headroom and clarity. It is not universal: some find it harsh unless it is hitting an already overdriven amp, and a few tire of it, but many keep a V1 or V2 as their favorite. It has been through several versions and colors that collectors chase, and cheaper clones like the EHX Glove earn real respect.
