TC Electronic Corona Stereo Chorus

About the TC Electronic Corona Stereo Chorus

The TC Electronic Corona Chorus is a stereo chorus built around TonePrint, TC's system for loading artist-designed or custom presets onto the pedal. A three-way switch selects two built-in chorus voices plus the TonePrint slot, so it spans everything from a subtle shimmer to a lush tri-chorus, and the full-size version has internal dip switches to set buffered or true bypass. A smaller Corona Mini is also made.

Owners love the Corona, and the reason is almost always the same: TonePrint. Between the two onboard voices and the presets you can load, owners say you can dial in nearly any chorus on the market, and several name it their favourite for exactly that flexibility. The tri-chorus setting comes up again and again for the lush 80s clean sound, one owner rates it as a very close stand-in for the classic Dytronics and TC rackmount choruses used on those records, and people load TonePrints to emulate classic units like the Roland Dimension C and M. It runs in stereo, and the full-size version hides dip switches inside for a buffer or true bypass, so it can double as the buffer at the end of your chain. The usual comparisons owners draw are the Walrus Audio Julia and the Eventide TriceraChorus, and which you prefer comes down to taste.
