Boss DD-3T Digital Delay

Über Boss DD-3T Digital Delay

The Boss DD-3T is a digital delay, the tap-tempo version of the long-running DD-3. It keeps the DD-3's warm digital repeats and adds tap tempo, set by holding the pedal down or with an external footswitch, plus a short-loop hold mode.

The DD-3T is the DD-3 with tap tempo added, and owners say it keeps the DD-3's warm, not-sterile digital repeats that have been a standard since the 1980s. You set the tempo by holding the pedal with your foot or by plugging in an external footswitch, and there is a short-loop hold mode for wash and stutter sounds. Owners rate it highly, more than one calling it their favorite digital delay and reaching for it to nail classic delay tones. As with any delay, the common placement advice is to keep it near the end of the chain, after modulation, and lean on the hold for ambient wash loops.
