The CH-1 Super Chorus is a stereo chorus with a clean, bright sound that owners reach for to thicken up a solo or add shimmer to clean arpeggios. It splits opinion. Plenty like it, some calling it a favourite and saying it does exactly what they want; others find it fairly mild and not especially exciting. One thing worth knowing is the history: the current CH-1 is digital, while the original was analog and is now discontinued, so the old one turns up used at collector prices. If you want a stronger or more analog chorus, owners cross-shop it with the MXR Analog Chorus (true analog, though some feel it saps a little tone), the EHX Small Clone and the Strymon Ola.
