Owners love the RE-202, calling it a great, reliable pedal that nails the warm Space Echo vibe every night. Beyond standard echo it has a long delay mode of around six seconds for looping and Frippertronics, kill-dry for parallel rigs, and MIDI. Owners get the most out of it by pairing it with reverb and chorus in stereo and pushing the feedback for oscillation and weird, glitchy sounds. It is not for everyone: some find it has too many options or sounds a touch synthetic next to a real tape machine.
