The American Performer Stratocaster is a US-made Strat from Fender's Corona, California factory. Dated examples run from 2018 to 2024, and the serial starts with US and the two digits of the year it was made. It has an alder body, a maple neck with a Modern C profile and a satin back, a maple or rosewood board with a 9.5 inch radius and 22 jumbo frets, a 25.5 inch scale and a synthetic bone nut 1.685 inch (42.8 mm) wide. The oversized '70s-style headstock carries a silver logo and ClassicGear tuners with an 18:1 ratio, and the bridge is a six-screw vintage-style synchronized tremolo.

Three Yosemite single coils made for this series have flat-staggered pole pieces, a reverse-wound middle pickup and a mix of Alnico 2 and Alnico 4 magnets. The controls are a master volume, a tone for the neck and middle pickups, and a second tone for the bridge pickup through the Greasebucket circuit, which cuts treble without cutting output. Pulling up that second knob adds the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2, giving bridge plus neck and then all three together.

Honey Burst examples have a three-ply mint green pickguard. Weighed examples come in at about 7.4 to 8.3 lb (3.4 to 3.8 kg). It comes with a deluxe gig bag, the tremolo arm, wrenches and a certificate. Owners often fit other pickups, locking tuners or new saddles, so ask whether the original parts come with it.
