Owners are seriously impressed by the Zelzah, one calls it his favorite pedal outright, one of only two he would keep, and says it replaced his MXR script phaser and an Electric Mistress so completely that he sold both; another bought it to free up board space and does not regret it, calling his first Strymon capable of great results. It is widely described as the most flexible modulation in its class, and, in the words of one owner, not cheap but amazing. The power is in the two sides: run them together to blend phaser, flanger and chorus into rotary-like and phasey textures, and dial the left side's depth and mix for a script-phaser voice (further up it does a Small Stone) with the right side handling flanger and chorus. Store your combinations on the favorite switch or via MIDI so one pedal covers phaser, autowah, flanger and chorus, and note it takes a lot of gain in front without breaking up. The honest note is that this is a deep, studio-leaning, not-inexpensive tool, for straightforward live rock you can get by with simpler pedals, but for soundscaping and flexibility it is a killer.
