About the Tokai LS-200F

The LS-200F is the UK-market Love Rock with a solid 5A flamed maple top, ordered by a British dealer from 2010 to 2021 under a number that, unlike every other Tokai, never moved with price, sister to the AAA-topped LS150F, and a lemon-drop finish is seen; an owner has swapped the stock MK2 pickups for a vintage-voiced set.

For sale right now

The best-priced as cards, a row of them; every other ad as a line, by ask. Each ask is the seller’s own number; the platform’s mark opens the listing. Each one says when we last confirmed it at its source: the price and availability are from that visit, so check the marketplace before you go.

No typical price yet for this one, so: one email when a new listing appears, with its ask. Never more than one a day. No account; a link to stop in every email.

Nothing live right now on the platforms we track.

A date is the day the ad went up. Marketplaces do not publish the day a sale closed; each of these had sold by the time we recorded it, in September 2026 and October 2026. A price is what the listing last asked, converted at that day’s rate.

What owners have said elsewhere

Paraphrased from 3 discussion threads among 13 owners, 2023-2025. No names, nothing quoted.

One owner sold a Gibson Les Paul to fund an LS200F; the guitars shown alongside it prompted the remark that nobody with sense would buy a Gibson or Fender instead, and another player who sold a Custom Shop 336 says the Tokais simply sound better, with one dissenter who kept a Gibson over a Tokai for its fretboard feel while conceding the Tokai is better built. The stock MK2 PAF-style pickups split owners: some keep them for the perfect old Les Paul sound at about 7k, others find the hotter MK2-S (around 11-14k at the bridge) harsh or the neck muddy and swap to Tornade MS59s, Monty's PAFs, Seth Lovers, Burstbuckers or boutique PAF clones with 50s wiring.
