The way owners get the most from it is creative: write parts around its rhythms for intros, interludes or attention-grabbing noise, use the A/B outputs to send a sliced beat and a sustained note to different effects at once (one owner does exactly this on violin), and, when you want something simpler, it makes a great tremolo. Owners tend to place it near the end of the chain.
