Why this number?
The typical used price is the median of 14 used sales observed in the last 6 months, with outliers removed and the figure rounded. An observed sale is often the last asking price rather than a confirmed hammer price.

About the PRS SE Standard 24
The SE Standard 24 is the PRS Custom 24 design built in all mahogany, with no maple top, and the mahogany body is bound. The set neck has the Wide Thin carve and a rosewood board with bird inlays, 24 frets, a 25 inch scale, a 10 inch radius and a 1 11/16 inch nut. Two humbuckers run through a volume, a push-pull tone that splits the coils and a three-way blade switch, and the bridge is the PRS molded tremolo, with PRS-designed tuners and nickel hardware. They are made in Indonesia.
The change that matters when you buy one is the pickups: earlier ones carry PRS-designed HFS (bridge) and Vintage Bass (neck) humbuckers, and PRS later updated the model with the 85/15 S pair. Weighed examples come in at about 7 to 8.4 lb (3.2 to 3.8 kg), most 7 to 7.6 lb. Some new ones came with no case or bag; the current spec sheet includes a PRS gig bag, and new ones are strung with PRS 9-42 strings. Colors include Vintage Cherry, Translucent Blue and Tobacco Sunburst. Locking tuners and replacement pickups are the common changes owners make.
