About the Tokai Love Rock LS-135Q

The LS135Q is the Premium-grade quilt-top Love Rock of the early 2000s, a 2003 owner and a 2025 buyer both date theirs, sold with the Premium brown-and-pink case, an amber-inlay Tokai logo and a deep neck joint visible in the neck-pickup cavity; the number is the yen list price, so the same guitar wore other numbers in other years, and the ULS-135 is the UK-headstock version.

For sale right now

The best-priced as cards, a row of them; every other ad as a line, by ask. Each ask is the seller’s own number; the platform’s mark opens the listing. Each one says when we last confirmed it at its source: the price and availability are from that visit, so check the marketplace before you go.

No typical price yet for this one, so: one email when a new listing appears, with its ask. Never more than one a day. No account; a link to stop in every email.

Every recorded sale, one point each: 8 of them, placed by the day the ad went up. Too few sales to draw a trend through them without inventing one, so the points speak for themselves. Condition is mixed, so some of the spread is a mint against a fair rather than the market moving.

What owners have said elsewhere

Paraphrased from 4 discussion threads among 6 owners, 2024-2025. No names, nothing quoted.

An LS135Q is absolutely loved by an owner who says it plays rings around a Gibson, with unmarked PAF-style pickups of about 8k that are the best that owner has had; the guitars are called beautiful, and a former dealer holds Tokai's quality above anything Gibson makes now.
