Owners love the MT-2W, several calling it a favorite they have leaned on for years and rating it fantastic for high gain with a mighty EQ. That EQ is the story: it is one of the deepest ever put on a drive pedal, which makes the pedal versatile but sensitive, and owners agree it can make the worst sound you have heard or one you love depending on how it is set, with a real learning curve for beginners. The Waza mode switch adds a Custom voice that is deeper, richer and slightly less scooped than the standard. Common advice: run it through the amp's effects loop to bring out its best, and use its EQ to work as a mid-forward boost in front of other distortions.
