Why this number?
The typical used price is the median of 14 used sales observed in the last 6 months, with outliers removed and the figure rounded. An observed sale is often the last asking price rather than a confirmed hammer price.

About the Gibson Slash Victoria Les Paul Standard
Victoria is the 2020 Slash Collection USA Standard in goldtop with a dark back, a tribute to the 1987 pre-historic 57 reissue goldtop of the Use Your Illusion tour, stolen in 1999 and never recovered. It carries the core Collection specs rather than the original's: a thick 50s-style neck, Gibson Custom BurstBucker Alnico II pickups, a Nashville bridge and a two-piece back, and it is regular production. The 2008 signature Goldtop, a limited run of 1,000, is the other Gibson tribute to the same guitar, with a slimmer neck, Seymour Duncan APH-1 pickups and a treble bleed. The dark back varies from near black to black cherry between units and with the light.

The best-priced as cards, a row of them; every other ad as a line, by ask. Each ask is the seller’s own number; the platform’s mark opens the listing. Each one says when we last confirmed it at its source: the price and availability are from that visit, so check the marketplace before you go.

Price history
Every recorded sale, one point each: 416 of them, placed by the day the ad went up. The line follows the middle of the sales around each point, with the middle half behind it, and breaks wherever nothing sold nearby. Condition is mixed, so some of the spread is a mint against a fair rather than the market moving.

What owners have said elsewhere
Paraphrased from 120 discussion threads among 42 owners, 2020-2026. No names, nothing quoted.
Most owners call it one of the best USA Standards Gibson makes, ready out of the box, with stock pickups that surprised people who had planned to swap them; several report the artist calling it his best-sounding goldtop and touring with it. The dissent is about quality control on some units, a two-piece back at the price and the premium for the name. Those who mod it go to the 2008 Goldtop's electronics: Seymour Duncan pickups, new capacitors and a treble bleed. Asked Victoria or a Custom Shop 57, owners mostly say Victoria for the money and a late 1980s pre-historic darkback if one can be found.
