About the Gibson Les Paul Slash Anaconda Burst Flame Top
The Anaconda Burst is the green one, and it came in three runs. After the prototypes toured in 2016 and 2017, the Custom Shop made 250 plain-top VOS guitars in 2017 to R8 spec, with the artist's own neck taper (.910 inch at the first fret, 1.05 at the twelfth), an APH-1 in the neck and an APH-2 in the bridge, a hand-wired harness with orange drops, an ABR-1 with an aluminium tailpiece and cream plastics, plus 25 signed and numbered. In 2018 Gibson USA made 450 flame tops with cream plastics and chrome hardware. The 2020 Slash Collection then brought the finish back on a regular Standard with black plastics, black hardware and Gibson's own pickups.
The 2018 USA guitar has a slimmer neck than the 2020's 50s profile (a dealer's measurement reads .81 inch at the first fret and .96 at the twelfth, which some owners dispute), no weight relief, 500k pots throughout and Seymour Duncan signature pickups from the factory; it is the heavy one. The Custom Shop plain tops are light, around 3.5 to 3.7 kg. Owners of the 2020 version swap its black plastics for cream to get the 2018 look; standard flat USA rings fit and bend to the top.

The best-priced as cards, a row of them; every other ad as a line, by ask. Each ask is the seller’s own number; the platform’s mark opens the listing. Each one says when we last confirmed it at its source: the price and availability are from that visit, so check the marketplace before you go.
Price history
Every recorded sale, one point each: 67 of them, placed by the day the ad went up. The line follows the middle of the sales around each point, with the middle half behind it, and breaks wherever nothing sold nearby. Condition is mixed, so some of the spread is a mint against a fair rather than the market moving.

What owners have said elsewhere
Paraphrased from 241 discussion threads among 35 owners, 2019-2025. No names, nothing quoted.
Owners of the Custom Shop Anaconda call it the best-playing Les Paul they have had and another world from the 2020 version: light, resonant, with a fat dry midrange and long sustain, and in a side-by-side of the artist's models the Anaconda and the AFD sounded deepest. Between the 2018 USA and the 2020 Collection version, owners with both prefer the 2018 for its neck, Duncans and cream plastics, and call it the one to hold out for; Anaconda Burst is among the least common of the artist's finishes.
The green itself divides the room: for some it is the finish that made them want a Les Paul, and several prefer the plain top to the flame in this colour; others find it plain ugly.
