About the Tokai Love Rock ALS-55
The ALS-55 is a Chinese-built Love Rock gold top of Tokai's budget line, and it carries a long neck tenon, something even the standard Japanese Tokai and a USD 3,000 Gibson do without, over a three- or four-piece mahogany back with a 3A flame veneer under the gold; the truss-rod cover is the three-screw type of the Chinese Love Rocks, and the latest Chinese series has moved from rosewood to granadillo boards.
